Are you Leaving for Winter Break?
We are nearing the winter break, and for many students who are commuting or at distance schools, that can mean going back home for the holidays.
But what does that mean for your journey back? What do you plan on bringing back home with you?
The Five Things Students Bring Back from Winter
Home Cooked Goods
The most commonly packaged item that students bring back from home is home baked goods. Everyone loves their parents cooking and stacking up with tubberware is a great way to eat a little bit better than the freshman ramen cookbook.
For many people going home for the holidays, that means bringing back presents and gifts they received. With that, it can be anything from trinkets and keepsakes to large computers and tablets.
Across the board, people will bring back different clothes than what they left with. Between some of the high-end clothes they might receive as a gift, they might also prepare for the change of seasons.
People get homesick. When they get homesick, that means they want to bring things back with them. This can be anything from photo albums to blankets and pillows.
Additionally, one of the hacks you can do when traveling is packing a back inside your main bag when you are flying back home. Then simply use the other bag as a checked or carry-on, and you can save on luggage.
